The Shaws travel full-time as itinerant ministers, international missionaries and corporate prayer specialists. As a speaker, Denise's primary focus of teaching is upon the authority of the believer and corporate prayer. She is a published author, having written three books and many articles and blogs. Most recently released is a classic for the generations to come: "Understanding Authority in Prayer."
A little history: In January of 1998, Denise & her husband, Bryan, founded Adoration Ministries, Inc. as a non-profit, 501(c)3 evangelistic organization based in Branson, Missouri. They traveled extensively throughout North America until moving to Indiana in 2003 to found Open Door Christian Fellowship, which they pastored for eleven years (2003-2014). With a sincere passion to see God move in their community, they worked effectively to bridge denominational barriers, hosting several community oriented events such as youth concerts on the courthouse lawn and coordinating food drops from Feed the Hungry. They know that what God wants to do in Spencer, Indiana is bigger than just one church and long to see unity among believers (Ephesians chapter 4). The Lord made it clear to them before moving to Spencer, that economic development was one of His priorities for the community. They developed prayer groups and worked behind the scenes along these lines. They were instrumental in helping community leadership develop sound economic development policies and projects that would provide long-term sustainability to the community. To God be the Glory!
Denise holds ministerial credentials (ordination) with Rhema Ministerial Association International (aka Kenneth Hagin Ministries) and A Glorious Church Fellowship (aka Billye Brim Ministries) - highly respected organizations which focus upon ministerial ethics and integrity. She is a graduate of Indiana State University (Terre Haute, Indiana) and Rhema Bible Training Center (aka Rhema Bible Training College) near Tulsa, Oklahoma (in Broken Arrow). She has studied under or been mentored by such men and women as Dr. Kenneth E. Hagin, Dr. Billye Brim, Drs. Ken & Lynette Hagin, Dr. Jim Kaseman and Apostle Keith Taylor. Bryan is a graduate of Life Christian Center's Bible School in Branson, Missouri through AFCM International. In 2016 they launched Prayer for the Nations, still actively based in Terre Haute, Indiana. Seeing many doors of opportunity open, the Shaws are traveling once again out of their home State of Indiana. With a heart for missions, the corporation has been revived as "Adoration International" with their global base of operations located Branson, Missouri.
